Alums on the front lines — of news

At least three SJMC alums have been covering Hurricane/Tropical Storm Harvey on the Gulf Coast and its aftermath: Meagan Flynn, JO’15, a reporter at the Houston Press (@Meagan_Flynn); Morgan Gstalter, JO’17, a reporter at the Beaumont, Texas, Enterprise (@morgGstalt), and Brittany Weiss, JO’09, a reporter/anchor at WBRZ-TV in Baton Rouge (@MsBWeiss).

Student forms and other tools online

Frequently used forms and academic “tools for success” are now available on the SJMC website for student access. A few more documents will be added soon, so check back for details!  Online documents include drop/add, change of record, academic adjustment, independent study forms and more. Some tools for success available include a daily planner, a semester quick-reference guide and four-year plan of study. Check out all the forms here: http://sjmc.drake.edu/current-students/forms/

Now all students receive free admission to Drake athletic events

All Drake students, both graduate and undergraduate, can attend Drake athletic events for free. See the link below for more details: http://oncampus.wp.drake.edu/2017/08/29/students-receive-free-admission-to-drake-home-games/
